Ten Minute One On One Mini-Dates

THE EVENT: You're invited to a new concept in after work parties - speed dating! Participants will get to mix and mingle during the cocktail social. There will be a balance of genders from the tri-state area. You must arrive promptly as you will receive an assigned rotation among participants of the opposite sex, speaking to each other for approximately ten minutes. Everyone will receive a name tag and a rotation response card. At the end of each rotation, you indicate if you would like to connect again. PBSN will contact all attendees by e-mail or phone within 48 hours following the party with their feedback, and will only release contact information if there is a mutual match. We do the follow through, so you don't have to. It's a quick and painless way to detect - then select! Afterwards, you're on your own in terms of contacting those with whom you're interested in connecting with again. Dressy Attire; jacket & tie optional. No jeans or sneakers. Cash bar. Membership is not required to attend PBSN events.

COST: Guaranteed, prepaid reservations required. PBSN members $35; non-members $45 (no coupons or passes accepted). No shows (members and nonmembers) will be billed $50. Qualified participants are invited tonight to complete PBSN Annual Registration or renew their membership for a combined fee of $75.

Do not provide credit card information in an e-mail communication.

CONFIRMATION: You will receive confirmation when your PREPAID reservation with credit card information has been accepted. No cancellation for any reason after Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Directions will be sent by e-mail or given with your confirmed reservation.

PARTICIPATION in After Work 10 Minute Introductions: Most individuals participating have a college degree, or have a position with management level responsibilities, or are a business owner, or are enrolled in an accredited program of higher education leading to a college degree. Please provide qualifications that should be considered for your acceptance for participation.

Heads up.... where else can you go and have up to 9 dates all in one evening. A new party style is sweeping the Tri-State Area.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Will there be an equal number of men and women?

There will be a close gender balance.

 

May I make a reservation even at the last minute?

Usually women make their reservation early. You will be placed on a wait list pending obtaining a gender and age distribution balance. You can be sure to be included if you get a male friend to sign up.

 

How late will the event run?

This Speed Dating event should finish about 9:00pm.

 

When will I learn about my Mutual Matches?

PBSN will either e-mail you or call you within 48 hours following the event.

 

Will there be individuals of the opposite sex near my age?

PBSN balances both gender and age distribution.

 

Cancellation / No Show / Refund Policy:

All of the participants are relying on you to be there. Having both an age and gender balance is important. There will be no refund for any reason after the published cancellation cutoff date. Cancellation after the published cancellation cutoff date is considered the same as "No Show" both members and nonmembers will be billed the stated No Show fee. You are considered a "No Show" if you arrive after your published rotation start time, if you do not compete your assigned mini-date rotations and tun in a match sheet.
